The Cape Messenger poll on the corruption charges being reopened against President Jacob Zuma shows that our readers are cynical about whether he will be brought to book.
Some 62 percent of our respondents say that President Zuma is “too powerful and will evade the law”.
Far fewer, just 38 percent, believe he will now have his day in court.
The question asked was: President Jacob Zuma has failed to block the corruption charges against him and the legal process has been rekindled. Do you believe he is too powerful and would evade the law? Or alternatively, it would follow that he would now have his day in court.
