The Mayor of Cape Town Patricia De Lille is to address business people and other stakeholders at a crisis water summit next week, which is being held in partnership with The Cape Messenger.

The Water Leapathon is taking place on the 30th of November and the 1st of December at Kelvin Grove Club in Newlands (for details, please click on the banner on The Cape Messenger Home Page.)

Other speakers include water strategists Anthony Turton and Mike Muller.

The event comes as Cape Town is battling to avoid Day Zero – the day the taps will run dry.

The crisis summit will concentrate on solutions – both short and longer term – and will explore techniques and technology to move from water crisis to water abundance.
